We can’t wait to introduce you to the latest products joining our Waphyto family! Following their international launch on August 30th , our hair care collection will now include Scalp and Hair Oil, as well as an upcycled Bamboo Brush, for enhancing your daily hair care rituals.

To understand the benefits of these amazing new items and how to incorporate them into your holistic wellness routine, here is what you need to know:

Plant-Powered Care with New Scalp and Hair Oil

As we age, men and women tend to experience concerns regarding hair loss or thinning, as well as hair that appears depleted due to lack of volume and moisture. For addressing these concerns, and helping you live colorfully with Mother Earth, our new Scalp and Hair Oil is a luxurious blend of some of our favorite Waphyto ingredients, plus so much more!

Key ingredients include sanguisorba, English ivy, althea root, and arnica, plus six nourishing plant oils - squalane, apricot kernel, canola, sunflower, safflower, and jojoba - which were chosen for their ability to moisturize the hair and condition the skin, while also preventing damage and promoting repair.

Additionally, because Waphyto enhances each of our products with its own signature aromatherapy, Scalp & Hair Oil includes a calming fragrance – featuring sandalwood, cedarwood, fennel, and orange – designed specifically to promote balance for your autonomic nervous system.

Added Benefits with Our New Bamboo Brush

Understanding that healthy hair starts at the scalp, Waphyto’s new Bamboo Brush is intended to be a tool for everyday care, and can be used in combination with the Scalp and Hair Oil, as well as other Waphyto hair care products to create a synergistic effect.

When creating these brushes, Waphyto uses upcycled bamboo, which is a natural material that’s often treated as a byproduct. By repurposing it to make new tools and other crafts, you will be able to witness the aging process of beautiful bamboo, while also reducing environmental waste. Each brush even features its own unique wood grain pattern, and the pins are hand-embedded one-by-one by craftsmen.

The Rituals: How to Use Waphyto’s Scalp and Hair Oil + Bamboo Brush

Of course, one of the most exciting aspects of these new products is that they can be used multiple ways, depending on your individual needs and goals for your hair. Here are a few of our favorite options for incorporating them into your daily rituals:

    • Option #1: Scalp Massage with Oil- For encouraging circulation at the scalp level, a few minutes of mindful massage can do a lot to improve your hair health. This can be done by applying a few drops of Scalp and Hair Oil along the hairline and the nape of your neck, and working the product into your scalp, while mindfully enjoying the aromatherapy.
    • Option #2: Scalp Massage with Bamboo Brush - If you prefer more stimulation from your scalp massage, you can also use the brush tool to brush through the hair from root to tip, removing tangles, creating additional volume, and accessing acupuncture points in the process. You can also combine this treatment with products such as Waphyto’s Scalp Lotion, or the Scalp and Hair Oil.

    • Option #3: Pre-Treatment- As a compliment to your shampoo and conditioning routine, Scalp and Hair Oil can be applied as a first step, by massaging the product into the hair and scalp evenly and rinsing prior to shampoo.
    • Option #4: Hair Oil -For a softening and smoothing treatment that makes the hair appear extra glossy, you can apply the oil to dry hair for extra moisture and shine.
