To create this special formula, Waphyto has sourced some of our favorite active ingredients, as well as natural extracts, which are homegrown in Japan’s Eastern Mikawa Aichi Prefecture. These include:

• Tranexamic Acid– Powerful brightening ingredient, tranexamic acid has been trending in skincare in recent years, due to its ability to suppress melanin production and inhibit the formation of dark spots or discoloration. 

• Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate– Also known as Glycyrrhizic Acid 2K, dipotassium glycyrrhizate is a soothing ingredient that troubleshoots skin irritation, effectively reducing inflammation and redness in the skin.

• Rose Extract – Centifolia Rosa extract originates from Europe but has been carefully cultivated for our purposes in Japan, using only pesticide-free methods. In skincare products, it supports hydration and reduces dullness. It is also beloved for its rich floral fragrance.

• Artemisia Extract – For centuries, Artemisia – or mugwort – has been considered the “Queen of Herbs” and is often used in skincare, due to its antioxidant properties. It is particularly abundant in polyphenols, including chlorogenic acid.

• Botanical Oil Blend– Providing nourishment and additional moisture to the skin, Intimate Brightening Cream is infused with six different skin-softening oils, including plant-derived Squalane, Jojoba Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, and Meadowfoam Oil.

How To Use Intimate Brightening Cream in Your Personal Care Routine

With its gentle yet highly-effective formulation, Intimate Brightening Cream is appropriate for daily use. For best results, we recommend applying the cream morning or night following cleaning with your favorite Waphyto cleanser from the Intimate collection.

If you regularly use our Intimate Lubricant or Intimate Moisturizing Cream, Intimate Brightening Cream can be used in place of these products due to its moisture retention promoting properties. Or you may wish to alternate the products depending on your personal needs. You can also follow with our Intimate Mist and Intimate Oil for additional calming care and moisture support.
